the ego is one of the most important elements of identity.
ego is too often associated with the negative,
cocky and obnoxious,
while ego is simply the self and one's sense of the individual.

my beliefs are basic and strong.

honor.

and responsibility.

there is no truth without trust.
however, that trust must be earned.
and what would it be worth, anyway, if it were just handed out?

honor and respect for one's self.
if you don't respect yourself, how can you expect others to?

are simple examples of your respect for yourself.
correct usage of grammar, too.
it's bad enough that most people speak only one language.
at least speak that one correctly.

true friends are gained only through loyalty.
the backstabbing friend is worse than the enemy who spits in your face.
loyalty, however, demands that it is reciprocated.
i believe friendships are two-way.
no friendship is unconditional.
all relationships should continuously be reevaluated.
keep those you value; toss out the energy-wasters and leeches.
